i guess i haven't really been on polyvore for months and it feels kind of repetitive to be saying this again but i don't think i'll be on polyvore for a while. to be completely honest, i think everyone's forgotten me haha (which is completely normal and understandable)

so i'm just making this set as a kind of update and also to let anyone know that i have missed everyone on here lots! whenever i log on i feel as if there is so much to catch up on and i can't keep up! aah

polyvore will always be a big part of my life and i just really need to sort my life out before i come back. school, of course, is stressful, and there's always other life issues and i'm quite busy with depop as well (i'm selling bits to save up for a macbook, and hopefully i'll be sewing or making some other crafty items as well soon) so yeah, between being tired all the time and being really anxious i don't really have time for polyvore at the moment /:

will always keep the polyvore community updated if anything exciting happens though ^-^

i wish there were post notifications on here though! that would be great haha

hi friends!! okay so i realized i haven't been on poly in over a month. time flies by so quickly haha

school, as always, is busy plus i've been filming and drawing more often

the thing i've been spending most time on, though, is depop!!!!! i opened a depop shop about two weeks ago! i'm not selling much right now, but i'm saving up for a new laptop & some software!! i'm also thinking of putting up a few sketches on my depop as well! if you're from canada & interested, please check it out!!!! ty x

i have so much to talk about!!! wow wow wow, okay. first of all, how has everyone been? how were exams? (if you had them haha)

today i got my weatherstate cd in the mail, (ps: i really like their sound. plus they're on spotify aah) which by the way are handmade and only fifty in the world apparently?? they sent me a really really sweet note and a teabag haha, which made me smile so much (-: you can view it on my twitter hehe

also. polyvore-editorial followed me!!!!!! and added my happy birthday set to a collection!!! this is the first time this has happened to me so i'm really excited eee i actually jumped when i saw the notification

oh and... this set is an art set! i have a lot of art sets in my drafts but i always get quite nervous to post them hehe. @mimmizzle commented on one of my art sets and it was a really encouraging comment so thank you ^-^ here is an art set ♡

OH oh oh, my friend sent me undertale!!!!!! i am currently playing it... and i gotta say the soundtrack is pretty sick. if anyone wants undertale, send me a pm or leave a comment and i will send it to you! (only works if you have windows)

01/19/2016: something could change

hi friends ♡ exams are next week for me and i have a video i need to finish editing for school but i'm procrastinating as always hehe

i really really like lostboycrow's new ep. it came out last week, it's called sigh for me and it's beautiful and chill and i love it. this song is one of my favourites and the lyrics to the chorus especially speak to me aah. you know when you listen to a song and you feel like the writer is talking to you? that's this song for me haha

it kind of reminds me of something i've been wanting to talk about for a while. i have so many dreams and aspirations in life that seem so big and unable to be accomplished and unrealistic and sometimes it seems like there are so many barriers and things that are holding me back.

for a while, i've basically been trying a lot of different forms of art and i've found a lot of stuff is really expensive haha. good music & video editing software cost so much money and so does photoshop. i've gained so much respect for low-budget films and art aah.

and i feel this pressure to get somewhere or to actually accomplish something or feel like i have stuff together? i don't know if any of what i'm saying makes sense but hmm. let's just say it gets hard to create without thinking that there is always better software or material out there that could intensify or better what i'm making. it's really easy for me to always want more and not appreciate what i have already lol.

moral of story i can and should make do with what i have and i'll hopefully be updating you on my art. i have a few videos that i've been waiting to find time to post on youtube and i'm working on a really large photography + art / words type of book thing i'm going to try to put together for fun hehe

i guess the most important thing is to keep going and let the creativity flow and let it happen instead of stressing about software ;-;

01/17/2016: we got older

hi friends!! i haven't posted in a while, mostly bc of school, as always ;-; and i should be doing a science lab report rn bc it's due tomorrow.... and i need to get up early tomorrow morning but i felt an urge to post this set i made a few days ago so here it is. i kind of like it but i didn't really put much effort into it so i don't know aah

hmm okay i'm listening to florence welch at the moment and words can't describe.... how much i love her. the empowering vibe she gives off in her music. she's great and i need to add how big how blue how beautiful to my albums of 2015 list.

something i've been learning over the past week or so is to toughen up.... livin life comfortably is what i'm always leaning towards doing so i've been really trying to push myself bc being lazy gets you nowhere. turn up the music a notch louder and continue, i've been trying this thing where when i'm working on stuff and really tired, i'll start working out for abt 20 minutes n drink v cold water which wakes me up a lot and gets me back to hardcore rl study mode iDK lol why am i sharing this

haha MOTIVATIOn !! someone gave me a motivational talk a few days ago and it was p encouraging so i'm trying to spread the love

alsooo marina and the diamonds released a cover of true colours. it came out of nowhere and it's absolutely beautiful i love it

does anyone know any battle groups i could join? i want to go on poly more often in 2016 and i think battle groups would be good motivation hehe

oH and if you're reading this, let me know what you think of this set!! i don't think i've done a layout quite like this before, ahh i hope it looks okay the colour scheme of the first outfit kind of reminds me of the youtube channel kastor and pollux, i really love their channel and if you haven't watched them, check them out!!! their videos are super creative and beautiful

hmm recently i've been slightly obsessed with this dancer called dytto. she's gorgeous and pretty much does otherworldly movements with her body. she danced to carousel by melanie martinez and she did a dance with fik-shun from sytycd she was also on ellen and for the past few days i've been watching too many videos of her hahah

hi friends!! the above three songs have been my jam for the past hour, i like to listen to electronic music while i do schoolwork, whether it's epic trap music or chill electronic music they all just make me feel good vibes!!! /(^_^)/

this set is kind of interesting, i was playing around with a lot of winter-y items while i was trying to make this but they didn't work out bc there were so many colours all at once ahh
so now it's mostly snowflakes .... and baby heads

i really like that the word 'joy' is in here though!!! bc that's kind of what Christmas reminds me of -- joy and i think joy is something that you can never lose, whereas happiness is something that fluctuates, something you can lose easily and i'm a Christian and my joy comes from Christ and ultimately that's why i love Christmas so much, because it's a celebration for the birth of my Saviour!!!!!

just putting that out there haha Christmas makes me pretty hyped

09/22/2015: sorry i disappeared // update

hello. i kind of disappeared off of poly for a bit, sorry to all those i've been talking to and things. lately school has started and i've been finding it really hard to keep up with everyone's sets and stuff i've been tagged in and other accounts and everything. school is keeping me pretty busy so my checks on here will be pretty infrequent but i'll try to be on more (-:

i don't really use social media that often anymore, mostly just tumblr and twitter and occasionally facebook. if you want to keep in contact with me, my tumblr is space-mode and my twitter is 8hris (comment your user on any of these and i'll follow you back!!)

as well as school, i've been working on some other personal projects!! i'm in the early stages of editing music and messing around with the free program audacity and other fun stuff like that. i've been filming a bit and i might post some videos on youtube, we'll see. i've been doing some weird 3d models out of straws and interesting things. i have a lot of plans that involve sewing as well. sometimes life stresses me out o-o

i've been at school recently and everything is really different. we don't have that many new kids and our class is small, like ten kids. it's fun though, going to take a while to get used to.

hoodie allen released let it all work out a few days ago and it's pretty chill lately i've been listening to old punk pop music like the rocket summer, hellogoodbye, the academy is... (come back together please), the hush sound, jack's mannequin, old sws ........ ahh nostalgia

OH and i'm really excited for motion city soundtrack's new album panic stations bc i love lose control and i can't wait to hear all the other songs on panic stations and the album art looks cool i tried to make a set based on the cover but it didn't quite work out hahaha so i'll leave it in my drafts

09/04/2015: back 2 school vibes

hi guys

so i'm going back to school in a few days and i'm not sure how to feel. summer went by so quickly, it kind of just slipped through my fingers. i went shopping three days ago and i picked up three CDs bc the local store was having a sale on some older CDs. i got pretty. odd. by p!atd, gossamer by passion pit and mgmt by mgmt so that's all i've been listening to for the past few days haha.

pretty. odd. is actually a really great album and a masterpiece. if you haven't already, i recommend that you listen to the entire thing from beginning to end. every track flows really well into the next track and listening to the entire album without stopping is honestly a thrilling experience hahaha (-: before buying the album, i'd heard a few of the songs but not all of them so it was really nice to listen to the whole thing ahh

it was kind of sad to look into the lyric book thing though, bc it had pictures of all the band members and it made me remember that spencer and most of the members left )-:

anyways the looks in this set are what i would wear to school if i didn't have to wear a uniform, band tees + ripped jeans are always a rad combo aha. yayy for the smiths

i did buy the shoes in the top right for school, though, they're the all black canvas vans old skools

ahh it feels so satisfying to finally finish a set, i haven't made a magazine set in ages wow. i was tagged by @ cosmic-grace to do the set theme challenge (thank you!!) and she gave everyone an arts movement theme and my theme was futurism!! i honestly don't know much about futurism haha but i googled it and i found aeropainting, which is a form of futurism (-:

so there are three paintings in this set,

• in the top left corner is aeropittura by alessandro bruschetti, 1933 (this one is probably my favourite out of the three bc of the lovely colours)
• the painting in the top right corner is an aeropainting by giovanni korompay, 1936
• the painting in the bottom right corner is diving on a city by tullio crali, 1936. i think the view looks really cool here haha

08/12/2015: # THIS SET IS ME

hi all

haha this set is so late but here is my set for #thissetisme which is a super cool set challenge started by @we-are-the-kids-of-war-and-peace (-:

the challenge is to make a set with over forty items (this one is forty-seven items) that describe my interests in fashion and bands and other things!!

so in the top left hand corner i have a few pictures of artists and bands i like -- foxes, paramore and london grammar <3 there's a rock on hand hook, an xx x, an all time low shirt, pictures of josh dun and tyler joseph and the twenty-one pilots logo (i love them so much ahhhh). also, the cover art for joy division's unknown pleasures bc i was listening to their album while making this set hehe

the shoes in this set are the four shoes i wear the most irl -- my vans are my school shoes so they're pretty damaged, they have a few holes in them and they've turned brown bc of them sun so i might get a new pair soon haha, my nike air forces are my loves and i wear them all the time, my nike trainers aren't the exact ones in this set but they're black and white and similar to those, and my creepers are my absolute favourite shoes (((((-: they're really comfortable and the added height is really nice haha

and 90% of my pants are black lol, i love crewneck sweaters like the one in the bottom left corner and this backpack is the backpack of my dreams, i was planning to get it for school but i was looking at it online and i realized the measurements are a bit smaller than your usual backpack, so if anyone has seen any similar backpacks in any online stores please let me know?? thanks!! otherwise, i might find a plain black bag and just paint on the bones

oh and there's a camcorder in here, i really love my camcorder aw

so i was tagged quite a while ago by @bosspresident to do the theme tag (i got tagged almost a month ago but i found it in my drafts and realized i didn't finish it, also it was in my remember hashtag oops) which i'm sure most of you are familiar with now haha
it's the tag where you're given a theme and have to make a set based on that theme. the theme given to me was bowling night. i don't usually go bowling haha but this is probably what i'd wear if i went, also there's a pretty cool looking bowling ball in here (-:

i've been meaning to mention that i'm going to start up an etsy shop soon!!!! i'll be selling shirts and stones and other things and i'm planning to have everything all set up by the beginning of august (-: leave a comment if you'd be interested? as for prices, i haven't really got them all figured out yet but shipping should be less than five dollars, depending on what is being shipped and where you live and stuff and all the items i'm going to sell will be reasonably priced, from around $1.50 to $15.00

07/02/2015: taking a toll on my soul

hi guys

how is everything?? i think i'm getting better at going through my activity and replying to messages now that i have summer break ahh

the lyrics in the title are from drown by tyler joseph, which is one of my favourite songs. it's one of his older songs, from his album no phun intended and i love it so so much <3 taken by sleep and blasphemy are really really beautiful as well

i was going to put text in this set but i fiddled around with so many words and positions and nothing looks quite right so i just decided to leave it as it is, hehe. i usually like to put text in sets and the more i look at this, the more i feel the need to add a quote somewhere?? but oh well

oh and pyper america and lucky b smith in this set!!! mega babes, i love them

these past few days i've just been walking around town and chilling with friends and stuff, i spotted the newest nylon mag at a local bookstore and i've got my eye on it, hopefully i can buy it soon (-: also i found this shop that sells crepes and they're amazing, i got this banana and nutella crepe and it was so delicious mmmmm

i'm really digging this new app called paper fifty-three, it's a drawing app where you can use different brushes and mess around with shapes and colours and lots of cool things. you can remix other people's pictures by adding stuff to it or drawing stuff on it or whatever (i'm really bad at explaining hahaha sorry) and star creations and ideas other people have made and it's really cool. if anyone has an account, let me know!! i'd love to see your drawings (-: there are some really nice ones that i'm so amazed by, like there's this one japanese girl who does sketches combined with watercolour of different succulents and fruits and plants and they're so good ahh

next week i'm going to start volunteering at this camp for a few weeks and i hope it goes well!!!!! i do get community hours though so yay

06/27/2015: voltage

hi everyone i feel like this is going to turn into a super long description

before i start rambling thanks akina @shootingfor-adventures for helping me pick which shorts to use in this set, hahahaha

on tuesday i went shopping and i got a basic black tee (it had a pocket and the sleeves were pre rolled though so BONUS) and some shorts by the way i completely recommend these shorts ok they're really comfortable and they have nice deep side pockets so your hands don't have to dangle at your sides awkwardly ok and a pair of acid wash skinny jeans

fearless records released two songs from punk goes pop 6 WHICH I AM VERY VERY EXCITED FOR, pvris did a rad cover of chandelier and i started listening to ice nine kills after their cover of animals (even though i was disappointed when they covered maroon 5 instead of neon trees)

and i've been listening to a lot of we are the in crowd, pvris, against the current and forever the sickest kids!!!!!!!! good vibes good vibes good vibes

chrissy costanza is ONE OF THE MOST GORGEOUS PEOPLE LIVING ON THE FACE OF THIS EARTH AND SHE HAS A KILLER VOICE AND OK I JUST I, WOW

japanese is such a cool language i was listening to one ok rock and i have no idea what taka is saying when he sings in japanese but it sounds so so rad and it kind of makes me want to learn japanese so maybe i'll start watching more anime with subtitles hahahaha
