11/2016 November agenda.

11/12/2016 Last week, I had a dream that my school opened up this new position on the student council related to accounting, and me and 0133 decided to run. It was a class thing, so we gave speeches, and everyone got to vote. It was spontaneous and we didn't have time to prepare. My turn was first, I didn't really say much.

I was sitting at my desk, we were in Miss 0014's Grade 3 classroom. Then 0133 got up and said his speech, it was short but sounded confident. At this time, 0311 came in, and he asked us to put our heads down to vote. I'm not sure why he was there, because he wasn't even part of the student council, but I thought he was. And I don't know how I knew this, but only five people voted for me, even though I was better at accounting. However, I still won the spot because 0311 said he had the right to decide. I was really confused.

11/15/2016 I downloaded a xylophone app on my phone, it's really fun. And I started playing 2048 again. Lately I've been messing around with art and stuff in my free time, and I'm making some random things that I hope to share soon maybe. Also I might get a new laptop soon, and I'm looking forward to getting Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator and After Effects and doing some cool stuff! Also also also, I'm still learning to play the guitar.

11/19/2016 I had a dream there was another talent show coffee house thing at my school again. We were sitting in Area 300, and one of the performances was 0310 and one or two other people. They had remixed a song they wrote themselves. The chorus was chill and catchy, the lyrics were just "Thanks for watching," being repeated over four times. There was a rap as well, but it was by a black guy who didn't go to our school. They also had a PowerPoint presentation that went with the song – it had their names in black, some vertical lines, and kept zooming in slowly on 0310's name. I tried to enjoy it, but felt weird inside about it.

11/22/2016 I went to the Two Door Cinema Club concert, and Broods was the opening act. Everything about it was great and beautiful, and I wish I could relive it again. Georgia sounds so beautiful live, and her speaking voice is also the nicest thing ever. I couldn't stop listening to Conscious after the concert, but TDCC was a whole different story. I love how everyone in the crowd sings along, and we know all the lyrics. They played so many songs I love, especially "Sun" and "Sleep Alone."

12/03/2016 In my dream a few days ago, I started going to this school. I met two people in class, who quickly became my best friends. We sat at the back, at the table where me, 0056, and 0132 sit during Accounting. (Except this wasn't Accounting, and my new friends weren't 0056 nor 0132.) My new friends were tall and white. One was a girl and the other was a guy. The girl had brown hair, and she had a crush on the other guy. She flirted with him during class, to the point where it was cringey. The teacher noticed, and she kept giggling a lot.

The thing was, the other day I got a text from the guy about his feelings towards me. Afterwards, we went out for lunch downtown, without the girl. It was awkward, but also chill at the same time. We walked on the street across from my church, except the landscape was different. The church was still the church, except everything was a little darker. When you went in the direction of where Arctic Bites should be, there was an alleyway with wired fences, that looked kind of sketchy.

Anyways, we went out to eat Chinese food in this restaurant with two floors and yellow lighting. We were sitting across from each other and talking, until I saw in the corner of my eye, a ton of adults from my church eating, along with 0025's dad. I wanted to introduce my friend to them, but we also wanted to eat alone. So I said hi and ate a bit with them, while my friend looked for a new spot in the restaurant to meet. We lost each other, so we started texting and it was funny.

12/10/2016 I had a dream I was at I was at some obscure mall with 0025. I decided to dye my hair lavender, and it looked really cool. I planned on buying mustard oil or linseed oil to help any damage. Then I realized that I wasn’t allowed to have coloured hair at school, and I contemplated what to do.

12/18/2016 A lot has happened in my life in the past two weeks! I got a new laptop that I've been saving up for two years. It's the laptop of my dreams, and I have Adobe software, so I'm really excited to make stuff.

03/01/2017 Nipissing University stock market competition.

03/03/2017 I think I did well on my Accounting Ch. 11 test, and I'm hoping for a 100%. But I always make careless mistakes now. I got a 41/42 on my Careers test.

Sending team meeting in the lab was very awkward. It was just me, 0026, 0136, 0168, and 0194. And I came in the middle of prayer, and I had food in my mouth, so I couldn't pray, and we all wanted to leave. There was a really awkward silence for several minutes and then Mr. 0195 came in and suggested to start the prayer meeting, except we already prayed. And when we left the room, we exploded in laughter.

Later, went to the basketball game and it was so close! We lost by one point.

03/05/2017 Fell asleep in church. Watched Gossip Girl.

03/06/2017 Watched a lot of Gossip Girl. Did accounting problem 2B, but 3B on estimated warranty liability is difficult.

03/07/2017 Funniest thing ever at the movies today with Monopoly friends. We tried to sneak into an 18+ movie rated R, which turned into a hilarious situation where 0131 and 0051 ended up watching The Great Wall. 0131 had to purchase another ticket, got threatened to be escorted out of the theatre by security, and theatre staff were waiting outside the door. 0112 and I left early, got ice cream, and took time lapse mall videos. It was so funny. How did we think this would work – we bought tickets for Ballerina, which started 40 minutes after we went into the theatre.

I saw triangle eyebrow guy from two years ago, which was slightly creepy. We went to HMV and I bought the last Broods CD for only $7.90! It was so fun.

Sometimes I resent that I don't get to experience the full public school life. I'll never know what normal high school is really like, I'll never get to take an AP class, see strangers in class, or be in a place like that with so many different people with different views and backgrounds. I'll never know what it feels like to take a school bus to school, have more options during course selection, see people doing drugs in the hallway, have my exams spread days apart, not know all the teachers, anticipate if I'll have the same lunch period with my friends. Sometimes I wonder, if I went to a public school, if I would meet more people with the same interests as I have.

But most of the time, I love my school. Kids here snort sugar and get in trouble for swearing. The most rebellious thing I've probably done is sneak into an 18+ movie, which wasn't even that violent. And even then, when we discovered the theatre staff waiting outside the door for us had left, my friend and I decided to leave anyways. I love my school, where I can count on my friends to be encouraging, and I can see a familiar face every time I'm in the hallway. I love my school, where I can learn about God with my friends.

Then went to art class. Had Japanese cheescake and kiwi for dinner.

03/09/2017 Went to 0026's house, took two walks, did Nipissing, made Rice Krispie squares and gluten free pizza, watched How I Met Your Mother, 0196 and 0197 were there, looked through yearbook, talked, hung out. Did checklist stuff at home, had noodles. Went to the mall with 0025, bought a black bodysuit and banana froyo.

03/10/2017 Literally did nothing. Finished Gossip Girl and slept a lot. Started The Latest Buzz.

03/11/2017 Went to the grocery store and then to 0025's to retrieve USBs. Also slept a lot and watched The Latest Buzz. Tried calligraphy. Had hotpot with 0025's family.

03/14/2017 Went to Vaughan Mills with 0025. Bought Jolly Ranchers and youth all black Nike Roshes for only $60! Cleaned shoes. Finished resume with mom.

03/15/2017 Started Scream Queens. Sewed rose caps. Messed around with Etsy. Watched some long GarageBand videos. Watched La La Land with mom. Glued Starbucks straws.

03/16/2017 Recorded "Wayfaring Stranger" cover. Watched The Devil Wears Prada with mom. Mended and sewed Nike windbreaker.

03/17/2017 Watched Community while eating breakfast. Brainstormed and looked through clips for "Wayfaring Stranger" video.

Bussed to Kiku and had a lot of lunch with 0026 and 0028. Had bubble tea from 0197 and drove to the theatre, where we couldn't buy tickets for Ballerina. So we bought tickets for Goon because it was just about to start, but Goon was really bad and we felt uncomfortable watching it. So we left and switched our tickets to Ballerina at 4:50, then went to Indigo and met 0197 again. Realized we didn't have time to wait until 4:50, so we got a refund for our tickets and went to 0026's house, where we watched Annie and 0026 made a cake.

At home, watched Living on One Dollar with family while doing business stock assignment.

03/18/2017 Watched Community while eating breakfast. Cut hair very short. Finished making video, learned a lot about Premiere Pro, Animate CC, and troubleshooting rendering errors.

03/19/2017 I had a dream I went to a dance competition, even though I hadn’t gone to dance class the entire year. As soon as I arrived, they started dancing. I thought it was just a run through, so I went on stage and danced as well. I messed up a lot and didn’t really try, but it turns out that it was the real thing.

03/20/2017 Overall not a bad day. Got over 100% on my accounting test, got an 80% on my chem test, and 99% on English sheet. Felt weird about my hair, but isn't that normal? Some awkward encounters with Grade 12s, glad to be back with friends though.

Watched Community, Skyped Illinoise.

03/21/2017 Not a terrible day. I need to make some more money though. Cleaned my Macbook, so there's an accomplishment. I went on DM1. I'm beat.

03/24/2017 School was pretty chill this week, and I think I'm doing well, but I'm going to have to work hard to keep that up. Talked to 0198 in the hallway, went to art class, and went to Rinx. Played mini golf with 0026, 0112, 0138, 0141, 0038. Rollerbladed with 0026 and 0112. Played laser tag with class. Sleepy.

03/25/2017 Went on a walk listening to mansionz. Watched Community as usual. Did some homework. Posted denim jacket on Depop. Finally printed out the name change form. Sold the guitar picks. Made peanut butter chocolate chunk cookies. It was Earth hour. Watched an episode of Gilmore Girls with my mom.

03/26/2017 I had a dream my dad was ordering books online. I knew I wanted a book or two, but I forgot the titles. So I had to clean my room, to find the series with missing books. I also found blankets and a container of old and mushy tofu that my mom and her friend were using in a debate. The tofu part sounds gross, but it seemed normal. My mom started to eat it, I tried some and it wasn't that bad.

Woke up and did what I was supposed to. Church was better than previous weeks. Read To Kill a Mockingbird in the car.

04/02/2017 Church was pretty good. I tried to listen but lost focus at times. Wondering if I'm a bad person for wanting to go home early to do schoolwork. I did so much schoolwork and paperwork. So drained.

04/25/2017 I asked my neighbour 0193 about the first time he used a computer. He said, "I was around 30 years old when I first used a computer. They can be useful but dangerous. Sometimes people put too much information on the Internet using their computers, which can lead to doxxing, hacking, and breaching of information. It can make people susceptible to dangers, such as getting their house robbed, when anyone on the Internet can know their location and if they are on vacation. If people are not careful, they can put themselves at risk and lose money. I especially do not endorse online banking. But I do enjoy using my tablet."

05/03/2017 People keep trying to talk to me, but I don't have anything to say to them. I have theories, but nothing to support them. I'm living like time doesn't exist, when it does. I brush my teeth, and I don't know what comes next. I tell myself I'll do it later, but I never do it.

05/05/2017 I lost my contact lens. I lost my contact lens! And this isn't a metaphor for, I don't know, losing someone or something important that you took for granted. Realizing that you see life differently without them. Maybe things are a little blurry. No... I just really lost my contact lens and I want to find it.
