There will always be someone in front of you, and there will always be someone behind you. I don't know about the last part.
I could do UX design full time, find an internship, go to OCAD full time or part time, go to Western part time, do an MBA, or just study CS at Western. I have so many options! But I'm gonna be a UX designer. Even if I don't find a job, I'm gonna freelance. No matter how long it takes.

Am I taking the easy way out, or am I making a smart life decision?
I was failing calculus, I didn't have anything I was used to having. When things are good, you can rely on yourself. When things are hard, you have to actually rely on God. But to know that no matter what happens, your identity is in someone that never changes. That gives me some kind of peace.

I thought that a huge part of going to university was expanding your network and meeting as many people as you can. But quickly I realized that it's so much more fulfilling to invest in deeper relationships with a small amount of people. I'd rather spend time with people I already know, instead of going out and making shallow connections with a lot of people.
In the end, as one human, I only have so much time. It's not worthwhile to spread myself thin over so many people. During my first semester of university, I wasn't expecting to grow so much closer with friends I already had, but I really did.
