Summer

06/27/2015 So the first week of summer break has come to an end, it's Saturday night and everything has been so exciting so far. On Tuesday I went shopping and watched Inside Out with some friends. It was way better than I thought, and of course I watched it because of Amy Poehler. I ACTUALLY CRIED THREE TIMES and it was super cute. Also went to the amusement park several times and ate a ton of ice cream!

Today I made a bunch of paper stars and I'm going to fill up an entire jar and I think it's going to be super cute! They're really easy to make as well! Going to make a bunch while I finish watching My Neighbour Totoro.

image07/18/2015 These past two weeks I've been volunteering at Grace Camp. It's been super fun but tiring, but it's cool because we get community hours. We do activities in the morning – there is baking, drama, crafts, sports, movies, playground, Bible study, and games.

08/06/2015 Watching Minions with 0162, 0163, and campers (0163 and 0164 got scared, so we left the theatre for a bit). Making carnival signs and reading Paper Towns.

08/07/2015 Face painting at the carnival. BBQ, candy, and desserts. Playing around, talking to 0165 and 0134 at the 0166's house.

08/14/2015 Today, 0025 came over. We planned for dinner all morning and made a grocery list. We walked to Yellowtail and had an amazing lunch (I took lots of pictures). Then we went grocery shopping at T&T for the ingredients. At home, we spent hours preparing Rice Krispie squares, mac and cheese, broccoli, carrots and rice. It was fun but a lot of hard work. We couldn't wait for our families to eat together.

Our dreams were crushed as my mom called, telling us the dinner we made was useless. I had to go somewhere else for dinner. We were devastated. All that hard work for nothing. I was really really really sad. Then we went to 0158's house for dinner, and I went to her fellowship, which was surprisingly not awkward and good. The people there were friendly and I found out that 0159 knew Mr. 0146, and 0160 used to go to our church! She knew me 7 years ago.

At home, I cried and went on the Internet.

image08/25/2015 For the past few days I've been at home, getting ready for school, figuring out lots of math problems, eating a lot of peaches and watching Twenty One Pilots interviews. I started a painting of flowers the other day and I can't seem to find the time to finish it. I watched the movie Whiplash last week because Josh Dun was talking about it in an interview and it was pretty amazing, had my heart racing the entire time.

A lot of things have been floating around in my mind recently. I've been working on starting up an Etsy shop, but I was in the process of getting a PayPal account for safe transactions and whatever, and I found out that you have to be 18 to have an account. I'm not 18 yet, and I've heard that you can get suspended for lying about your age, so I guess I'll have to wait.

image09/02/2015 Someone gave me a gift card for the bookstore a few days ago, so yesterday I walked to the bookstore and I bought Rookie Yearbook Two! It's great and I really love it. I also bought The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath, and it's honestly amazing and so sad and I'm only halfway through it.
